Who’s the Designer?

Learn about the designer on our About page. Malyia is the designer and creative director. The brand was founded in 2014 when she identified a need for unique and fine jewelry. Our manufacturers are based in NYC. Each item is thoroughly inspected for quality before it is packaged and shipped. Customer service is her #1 priority, every customer is referred to as a jewel because they are as precious and unique as each item designed. 

How will I know my order has shipped?

You will receive a shipping confirmation email once your order has shipped. Once you have received this email please allow 24-48 hours for your tracking number to update with FedEX, UPS, USPS.

Made by Malyia is not responsible for any delays or other issues that arise when shipping internationally. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with your tracking number. All orders require a signature upon delivery. Please be sure you are available to sign for your order when its is delivered. It is solely your responsibility for the acceptance of your order upon delivery. Made by Malyia is not responsible for any lost packages, delayed delivery, or other issues once order leaves Made by Malyia. If your order is sent back to Made by Malyia by the shipping company for failure of delivery, you will be required to pay for the re-shipment of your order.

COVID-19 Delays

Wondering why your order is taking so long? COVID-19 has presented it’s range of obstacles and challenges for us. We pride ourselves on providing quality customer service, quality product and timely delivery. We have experienced countless delays due to reduced production capacity as required by government regulations. We are working actively to adapt to the times. We have reduced our products available in an attempt to keep up with the high demand of product. We are working on getting inventory restocked so we can ship product to you faster. We appreciate you for rocking with us and for your patience as we navigate these uncharted waters.

Returns, Exchange Policy

Returns are not accepted for any items, absent defect. Damage caused by consumer will not qualify item for return. 

Limited and specified items may be exchanged within 7 days of order delivery by emailing hello.madebymalyia@gmail.com with order number, reason for exchange and item you would like as a replacement. Orders cannot be canceled after they are placed on this site.  

The following items are final sale to preserve hygiene of items, thus they may not be exchanged or returned under any circumstances: earrings, faux nose rings, ear cuffs and facial jewelry items. Custom items are also final sale regardless of jewelry item type. 

If you require a size adjustment, we will be happy to resize. We know you will love your order and our goal is your 100% satisfaction. If you are less than 100% satisfied, please send us an email, give us the opportunity to get it right. We will provide a return label free of charge for items eligible for exchange. 

Can orders be cancelled?

No, orders can not be canceled or revised once placed.

How long does it take to receive an order once its placed?

Please refer to specific delivery estimates in the product details of each product. Please select UPS and FedEx to ensure reliable and speedy delivery. We offer free shipping with USPS, please allow 3-5 days for your items to arrive. The carriers delivery estimates 3-5 business days for domestic orders once shipped. * Please see our notes on COVID-19 above*

Can my order be rushed and delivered faster?

Some Items can be expedited.  If rush delivery is needed please contact us via email before placing your order. We will advise the best options and advise if your item can be rushed. * Please see our notes on COVID-19 above*

Will I receive a tracking number?

Yes, you will receive an email with the tracking number once your order is shipped . 

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, international orders may take up to 2 weeks to arrive due to customs. Made by Malyia is not responsible for the payment of any duties, taxes or other fees assessed to international shipments. Made by Malyia is not responsible for any delays or other issues that arise when shipping internationally. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with your tracking number. All orders require a signature upon delivery. Please be sure you are available to sign for your order when its is delivered. Do international orders receive tracking numbers?

Yes, international orders are shipped via UPS or FedEX. Keep in mind that several mail carriers may be used to complete delivery. We follow-up with all orders and may email you to confirm you have received your package. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions. 

Promotions

Promotions cannot be applied to previous purchases, they are only applicable at the time of purchase, during the allotted time frame.

Do you have a studio or store front in NYC?

No, we do not have a public studio or permanent store location to picking up items in person, yet. We announce pop-up shops and festivals via our blog and social media channels. Stay connected for announcements.

Can you place a custom order?

Yes, we can design chains with your custom measurements. If you need custom measurements, please email us before placing your order. 

Custom orders are made to order and cut to your specific measurements upon request so we can’t accept exchanges.

Have a custom design you want us to create?

Request a quote for a custom design. Contact us at madebymalyia@gmail.com and we will get to work. We will be adding a custom design tab soon.

How to adjust your nose rings?

Nose rings can be adjusted by gently pressing close to size. They are designed to fit securely so be sure not to close too tight. To maintain the shape use a pen shaped object when pressing to adjust to smaller size.

What is the jewelry made of?

We source the highest quality of materials for each item we offer. We mainly offer the collection in 14k Gold Plated, 14k Gold filled and Sterling Silver. See product details for more information on specific product information.

How do I care/clean the jewelry? 

See care instructions under each products details for specific care. Always store your items in box to avoid tangles in chain or prevent a distortion of the shape(nose rings, choker, ear cuffs when not worn.

Do you have a store on Etsy? 

Yes, we started Made by Malyia in 2014 with our first listing on Etsy. Etsy offers curated pieces but we offer the full current collection on the website.
